We're away until 24th October. The shop remains open, and orders placed in the meantime will be carefully packed and dispatched from 25th October. If you're ordering a gift, please allow for this when planning your delivery date. We'll still reply to messages while we're away, though possibly with a delay.
A round jesmonite coaster featuring a Basenji — the small, alert hound known for its curled tail, wrinkled brow and famously quiet nature, most importantly inspired by our own Cleo — set within a William Morris-inspired tapestry design. A mirrored pair of Basenjis stand nose to nose beneath a stylised acanthus tree, surrounded by dense Arts & Crafts florals in deep teal, dusky pink and sage on a rich midnight-blue ground, finished with a matching decorative border.
The design is UV-printed directly onto the jesmonite surface and sealed with a clear protective coating, so the pattern stays sharp and the coaster is easy to wipe clean.
Size: 9.5cm diameter, finished with protective feet on the underside to protect surfaces.
Available individually, or as a set of four — every coaster carries the same design, so a set gives you a matching four for the table.
Why we love this: a characterful companion captured in a proper Arts & Crafts tapestry style — the sort of coaster that gets picked up and looked at properly, not just used.
Good to know: orders are usually dispatched within 2–3 working days, or from 25th October for orders placed while we're away, sent via Royal Mail Tracked 48. Returns accepted within 30 days of delivery — just get in touch and we'll sort it.
