Siabann Scottish Rose Petal Soap

This rose petal soap bar is part of our Siabann collection — Siabann (shee-a-ban) being the Scottish Gaelic word for soap, chosen because we wanted something that felt genuinely of the Highlands rather than simply inspired by it. Each bar is handmade and hand-cut by us in small batches from natural, vegan ingredients, and scented to evoke the landscapes and seasons of the north of Scotland.

The wild roses that grow along Highland roadsides in early summer have a fragrance that is quieter and more honest than any cultivated variety — soft rather than sweet, floral without being heavy. This bar takes that quality as its starting point.

Rose petals pressed into the surface of each bar make it beautiful to look at from the moment it is unwrapped. The lather is gentle, the scent lingers pleasantly, and the overall effect is of something carefully made and genuinely lovely — the kind of soap that deserves a decent soap dish.

Why we love this: There is a particular pleasure in a soap that looks as good as it smells.
