Large Molten Glass Bowl on Bleached Wood

This handmade molten glass bowl on bleached wood is a striking large decorative piece, created by melting glass directly onto a whitewashed wooden base. The molten glass takes on a natural, organic form as it cools — each piece unique, shaped by the process itself rather than a mould. The result sits somewhere between art object and functional vessel, and earns its place as a centrepiece on a coffee table, sideboard, or kitchen surface entirely on its own terms.

Finished with gift wrapping, if you'd like it — simply add it at checkout.

The whitewashed wood provides a clean, simple base that allows the glass to take centre stage. A statement piece that suits modern, coastal, and country interiors equally well — and a thoughtful housewarming, new home, or wedding gift with a genuinely sustainable story behind it.

Why we love this: There is something genuinely fascinating about molten glass — the way it moves, settles, and sets into a form that could not have been planned. Each bowl is different, and that unpredictability is exactly what makes these pieces so appealing. A large bowl commands attention in the best possible way.

Size: Total height approx. 24cm. Bowl: H16cm × D10cm. Handmade from recycled glass on whitewash wood — each piece unique.
